Our Coalitions

Who We Are

The East Bay Regional Coalition is comprised of members of municipal prevention coalitions and other community stakeholders from Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, and Warren. We view prevention through a broad lens that accounts for similarities and differences between cities and towns, incorporates holistic health promotion and substance misuse prevention strategies across the lifespan, and coordinates media and events that endeavor to increase collaboration and sustain prevention activities across the region. Prevention Programs and Trainings

At the East Bay Regional Coalition we offer several programs and trainings that help educate, inform, and train members of our communities in mental health awareness, healthy life wellness, and strengthening families. We offer live-in person, virtual, or hybrid with a mix of live and virtual. Our programs and trainings are provided to our communities at no cost. The Incredible Years is an evidence-based program with over 30 years of research. The goal is to prevent and treat young children’s behavior problems and promote their social, emotional, and academic competencies. Evidence shows the programs have improved behaviors of up to 80 percent of the children of participating teachers. 

East Bay Regional Youth Council

The East Bay Regional Youth Council is a youth-driven group who organize and implement prevention activities in their communities! Starting in 2022, this dedicated group of youth use their knowledge of tobacco prevention to expand their reach to all areas of prevention.
