Kids’ Link RI™ is a behavioral health triage service and referral network. Kids’ Link RI is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help triage children and youth in need of mental health services and refer them to treatment providers.​

Rhode Island Hospital is a private, not-for-profit acute care hospital. Not only is it the only Level I trauma center is Southeastern New England, but it is also the largest hospital in the state and provides comprehensive services to patients.

Butler Hospital is the state’s only non-profit, free-standing psychiatric hospital providing adults, seniors and adolescents specialized assessment and treatment for all major psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse.

Bradley Hospital, founded in 1831, was the nation’s first psychiatric hospital exclusively for children. Today, it provides expert, family-focused care to children and adolescents with psychological, developmental and behavioral problems through a wide variety of programs.

Everyone does their best during difficult times; having a plan with pertinent information in one place will make it less complicated when a situation becomes overwhelming. Fill out the plan and keep copies in several places, such as on a phone, in the car, and in a wallet.

SAMHSA provides information on mental health services and treatment centers through an online service locator. You can search by your location, whether or not they provide services for youth, payment options (private insurance, cash, or something else), languages spoken, etc.

Herren Project provides free services and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder. We are committed to walking with individuals, families and communities on their journey to recovery, healing and overall wellness.

Rhode Island Student Assistance Services (RISAS) employs Student Assistance Counselors in many middle and high schools and provides evidence-based programs to prevent substance use and promote mental health.
